What Lights Up Your World?

I saw a Christmas tree lighting ceremony recently and I found inspiration in an unexpected place. Anticipation was in the air, children’s laughter, and the scent of hot chocolate floating about. Anticipation gave way to joy and awe as the countdown concluded and the tree was lit. Bright multicolored lights strewn about like confetti glimmered against the dark sky.

Enamored with the festive display, I began to realize that we can recreate this feeling of joy and anticipation all year long. How can we add more light to the dim parts of our lives? It is possible for us to experience more of the things that we look forward to. What lights up your world?
